How it works
Ingredient cost = pack price × dose ÷ pack weight. Add milk price per litre × milk ml ÷ 1,000 and other costs. Contribution = selling price − entered costs; margin = contribution ÷ selling price × 100.
Before you brew
Use a single currency. This is contribution after entered costs, not net profit. Include packaging or syrup in other costs; labour, rent, tax, waste and fees are excluded unless you account for them.
