BrewNoted is an independent guide to tea, matcha and homemade drinks. We explain preparation methods, ingredient choices and useful tasting notes for people making drinks in their own kitchens.
Who is speaking
“BrewNoted Editorial” is the publication byline for this website. It identifies the publisher of the guide, not a claim that a named barista, tea professional or laboratory has tested the subject. Individual qualifications and first-hand experience are not implied by that label.
Three kinds of information
- Published facts: model information, source recipes and care directions attributed to a manufacturer or supplier.
- Editorial analysis: comparisons, worked arithmetic and questions intended to help you decide or prepare.
- Personal observations: only presented as test results if the article identifies the actual method and evidence. Our current library does not claim hands-on product testing.
Sources and limits
We prefer original manuals, manufacturer pages and published preparation instructions. Marketplace specifications are identified as listing claims and can change. A linked source supports the relevant fact, not every opinion in the article. Unknown dimensions, compatibility or performance remain unknown rather than being filled in with estimates.
Recipes and examples
We credit the source of a published recipe. Suggested variations, blank worksheets and illustrative numbers are labeled accordingly. We do not invent tasting sessions, laboratory measurements, customer reviews or ratings. An ingredient ratio is a starting point for a particular method, not a universal rule.
Commercial independence
Our current articles have no affiliate tracking links or paid product placements. Sources are linked to help readers check the information. If we introduce affiliate links or sponsored content, we will identify that relationship on the relevant page. Display advertising does not turn a guide into a product endorsement.
Dates and changes
Publication dates refer to when an article first appeared. A substantive correction or revision should update its modified date; moving an article between our publications does not create a new original publication date. We retain clear scope notes where evidence is limited.
